This was another point of contention, Joe and Maria were stopped in their tracks mere pages ago by men with guns yet here they’re easily taking care of men with guns. Of course, the counter argument is they’d just been beaten down by a killer robot and they were facing several soldiers with machine guns, not two bank robbers with pistols.

People did seem to appreciate the joke about satisfaction surveys though. It was a good way of letting them know Joe’s back in his original line of work. I think the problem that arose was issue three never gets around to explaining why he’s gone back, especially after half of issue one built up to him quitting in the first place.
